Dr David Evans - Bangor University

Dr Evans has 15 years’ experience working in senior leadership roles within the UK National Health Service. This includes roles within acute and community settings. Dr Evans has also worked in the Middle East where he developed and delivered large scale health improvement/transformation projects. Patient safety and governance has underpinned his experience of managing complex health systems including Emergency Departments, Inpatient Wards and Community Services, all inspected by the UK’s Care Quality Commission and rated as Good or Excellent.
Dr Evans’ current role is as a Health Sciences Lecturer and Researcher in Residence. In this role, he brings the best health improvement research findings to communities and organizations that need it, in a way they want it, and with impact. This means that Dr Evans works alongside academics to identify how their work could translate to, and provide real tangible benefits to organisations working across health systems.
