The Welsh Health Hack returned on a virtual platform for the first time. The event focussed on the challenges faced by health and social care services in Wales  during the coronavirus outbreak.

The Welsh Health hack was hosted by Life Sciences Hub Wales, M-Sparc, Awyr Las, Betsi Cadwaladwr, Bangor University, Santander Universities, MediWales and the Bevan Commission.

The event took place over the period of a week. The first day gave health and social care workers the opportunity to pitch challenges faced during the pandemic. After teams had formed and worked on solutions, the second day provided the platform for a panel of judges to learn about the solutions proposed and award funding and support.
