Sue is our clinical innovation specialist here at Accelerate-Cardiff University, her role is around developing and managing relationships with Industry, 3rd Sector, Clinical and Academic partners. Sue continually supports the promotion of clinical innovation, working with various industry partners from micro to large multi nationals. Sue has skills and experience gained in her role with South East Wales Academic Health Science Partnership SEWAHSP to establish successful working relationships with key collaborators.

Sue has a varied background having served in HMAF, before working in BBC Wales, and then qualifying as an Independent Financial Advisor specialising in Ethical investment, Sue then went on to work in the University of South Wales and Bristol university before joining SEWAHSP where she was responsible for identifying potential opportunities for the development of projects and collaborations, and to forge successful working relationships with a wide range of HEI’s, NHS, Government, 3rd sector and the Business Community staff, liaising with a range of senior staff to facilitate and negotiate required assistance and buy-in to various projects and opportunities.

Sue has a BA Hons in Management and Business, and is qualified as a PRINCE2 project manager.
