Biomedical Catalyst 2022 Round 1: Industry-led R&D

Up to £2m for projects with a total value between £150k to £4m.

Funding overview:

A £15m fund for work on "disease prevention and proactive management of health and chronic conditions; earlier and better detection and diagnosis of disease, leading to better patient outcomes; tailored treatments that either change the underlying disease or offer potential cures; the development of digital health technologies" or similar. Applications must be led by an SME. Funding is available for pre-market R&D projects that can demonstrate commercial and technical feasibility. Healthy Ageing Catalyst Awards 2022

Since the first call for the Healthy Ageing Catalyst Awards in 2020, Zinc and UKRI have partnered to fund entrepreneurial academics who want to translate their research into impactful and scalable products, services and interventions. The Awards are part of the UKRI Healthy Ageing Challenge and the Healthy Longevity Global Grand Challenge, founded by the U.S. National Academy of Medicine. HSBC Loan Fund

HSBC UK has announced a £14 billion lending fund to support the UK’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).   • supporting communities adversely affected by COVID-19 
  • supporting communities and organisations to become more resilient to help them to respond better to future crises.
  • Good/successful applications will be People Led, Strengths Based and Connected.
