The West Wales Collaboration Support project can offer a range of support at no cost to Carmarthenshire-based organisations as well as providing access to a range of laboratory equipment via our fully funded Innovation Technologist’s and desk-based research through Innovation Officers. Swansea University, Tritech Institute, Llesiant Delta Wellbeing, and Pentre Awel are, together, offering health and life sciences businesses, charities, social enterprises, and entrepreneurs in Carmarthenshire the opportunity to develop their products, processes and services through a range of funded support.

Project aims:

The project aims to support health and life-science organisations by providing: 

  • Feasibility Studies and Reviews carried out by dedicated research staff. 
  • Opportunities to develop new collaborations with Healthcare providers, Academics, and Industry. 
  • Grant finding and writing support. 
  • Bespoke advice and guidance (including scientific, business management, and IP & patent advice). 
  • Access to free events and seminars. 
  • Networking opportunities. 

Project funding: 

The project is funded by the Shared Prosperity Fund in collaboration with Carmarthenshire County Council and the UK Governments levelling up fund.
