PhysioNow was one of five projects awarded funding as part of the Welsh Government’s COVID-19 Digital Solutions fund that is administered by DHEW. PhysioNow is a clinically led chat-bot support tool, providing agile and remote triage for musculoskeletal conditions.

DHEW has been working with the Royal Glamorgan Hospital to run a pilot testing RFID tracking. Passive tags have been placed on bladder scanners, wheelchairs and rental beds throughout the hospital, along with software to provide staff with real time information on where equipment is.
