This group will lead the development of advanced analytics capability across health and care in Wales. The overall purpose of this group is to enable, design and deliver the AAG work programme in the Improvement and Innovation Workstream to meet the objectives of the Digital Health and Care Strategy, at pace and scale.

MedTRiM (Medical Trauma and Resilience Training) is a pro-active, peer delivered resource for supporting those exposed to trauma in the workplace. MedTRiM addresses the legal, moral and ethical duty of care of the organisation by providing pre and post exposure support with minimal disruption.

PhysioNow was one of five projects awarded funding as part of the Welsh Government’s COVID-19 Digital Solutions fund that is administered by DHEW. PhysioNow is a clinically led chat-bot support tool, providing agile and remote triage for musculoskeletal conditions.

DHEW has been working with the Royal Glamorgan Hospital to run a pilot testing RFID tracking. Passive tags have been placed on bladder scanners, wheelchairs and rental beds throughout the hospital, along with software to provide staff with real time information on where equipment is.

NHS Wales increasingly makes use of standardised patient questionnaires to measure and improve clinical outcomes.
