Macmillan Cancer Support and Life Sciences Hub Wales are partnering to tackle unwarranted variation in cancer care across Wales.

Group of people sitting around a table.

We’re holding co-design workshops to gather perspectives on this topic from across Wales, to help us shape future projects.

Who should attend?

  • People with lived experience of cancer, including community groups and patient advocates
  • Colleagues from NHS Wales organisations, particularly those with a clinical interest in cancer
  • Colleagues from third sector and voluntary organisations
  • Welsh Government colleagues, particularly policy leads for cancer, innovation and health inequalities
  • Academic partners, including universities and health research centres
  • Innovators and suppliers, particularly those developing or scaling cancer-related technologies
  • Investment and funding bodies interested in supporting cancer projects

What to expect?

  • A discussion about what the data already tells us
  • Help to prioritise and validate areas of unwarranted variation within cancer care and treatment
  • Use your experience and expertise to contribute to the development of problem statements
