Grant Funding Specialist
Sarah has joined Life Sciences Hub Wales as a Grant Funding Specialist. Following her undergraduate degree in European Languages, she pursued a Master’s Degree in International Relations from Cardiff University where she specialised in gender studies. Since university, Sarah has worked in project and grant management at an international climate change NGO.
Working on national and international projects, Sarah has collaborated with local and national government, intergovernmental organisations, and transnational corporations. Delivering multi-million-pound grant schemes, Sarah is accustomed with grant management at a high level and familiar with the complexities of administering government-funded schemes.
Sarah’s job is to deliver the Community Pharmacy System Innovation Fund (CPSIF) which Life Sciences Hub Wales is administering on behalf of Welsh Government. This will see the introduction of an electronic prescription service in Wales. Sarah also works closely with the rest of the funding team to support bid development on innovative and collaborative projects within life sciences.
