Bangor University’s Academy for Health Equity, Prevention and Wellbeing (AHEPW) champions transformative education and innovation at the forefront of health and social care. The Academy, formerly known as ALPHAcademy, represents a profound commitment to advancing health equity, promoting wellbeing, and championing preventative measures for a healthier world. 

AHEPW is dedicated to reshaping the way health and social care is delivered, not only in Wales but across the globe. Rooted at the crossroads of education, research, and practice, the Academy offers an array of comprehensive postgraduate programmes in ‘Prevention, Population Health, and Leadership’, as well as courses, workshops, and individual learning modules in topics such as healthy behaviour change, systems leadership, health equity, learning cultures in organisations and many more. The Academy’s distinctive blend of online and in-person learning caters to the diverse needs of working professionals while delivering a rich education experience. 

All programmes can be studied either on campus (in-person) or online (distance learning).
