Around 300 delegates from health, care and industry come together for the second Digital Health and Care Conference Wales 2018, 'Accelerating Digital Change'.
Organised by the NHS Wales Informatics Service and Welsh Government, Life Sciences Hub Wales were in attendance showcasing the Digital Health Ecosystem Wales (DHEW) and how the unique programme is connecting and convening partners, helping to remove barriers to implementing digital innovation across the health and care sectors.
Helen Northmore, Programme Manager for DHEW said:
"The conference provided me with a fantastic opportunity to present the work of the Ecosystem, bringing together new and existing partners to share ideas, opportunities and solutions.
The ongoing challenge of scale and pace is felt by partner from health, care and industry alike. I was delighted to be able to demonstrate how the Ecosystem plays a unique role in reaching across sectors, connecting ideas that work and identifying opportunities to increase the reach and impact of digital innovation."
DHEW holds it own annual programme of events that brings forward inspirational digital innovation from across Wales, the UK and internationally.
Registration is now open for the DHEW winter 2018 event, held on Wednesday 5 December at Life Sciences Hub Wales which focusses on how data driven solutions can improve patient journeys and drive efficiencies.
