Project Lead
Debbie started her career as a Registered General Nurse before moving into sales in the pharmaceutical industry where she worked predominantly in the field of infectious diseases (HIV). From 2011 to 2019 she worked in digital health start-ups as a product and business development manager in remote diagnostics and social prescribing. Debbie joined Life Sciences Hub Wales in early 2020, initially working with the Accelerate Programme. She is now project lead for Digital and AI, working with industry, health and social care and academia to support the adoption of new digital technology from Wales, the UK and beyond. Her role involves stakeholder engagement, partnership management and horizon scanning, as well as programme and project management.
