Digital Health Ecosystem Wales (DHEW) and Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Cymru join forces to bring you a brand-new website helping support and accelerate innovation in digital health technology in Wales.
DHEW, funded by the Welsh Government, is a collaboration between the Life Sciences Hub Wales and NHS Wales Informatics Service. It aims to make it easier and faster to adopt digital healthcare technology in Wales. TEC Cymru will provide a national platform to enable the sustainable use, scale up and spread of value-added technology.
Digitalhealth.wales boasts a wealth of information and links that can help innovators, clinicians, entrepreneurs and companies with ideas and products get to the next stage of development or scale up. Other resources on the site feature the latest events, and projects from the digital health programmes and beyond.
The website is also home to the toolkit, explainer videos and resources for GPs and healthcare professionals who are utilising the NHS Wales Video Consulting Service that is currently being rolled out to every GP surgery in Wales. You can also check out the latest Application Programme Interface (API) work the DHEW development team have been doing by visiting the Developer Portal.
