The Defence and Security Accelerator is a UK government funder of innovation for both Defence and Security. Our aim is to find and fund exploitable innovation for a safer future. We have a range of funding to accelerate ideas from any sector for the benefit of Defence and Security. We want ideas from a diverse range of innovators and have a team of innovation partners, based all over the UK, who are here to help guide those interested in the funding available.

SMART FIS is a Business Wales program that helps organisations (not only businesses) involved in research, development and innovation. The programme provides organisations with access to a network of specialists, funding and advice. SMART FIS is not limited to organisations in the life science sector, and is targeted towards helping organisations create new products and services, increasing commercialisation, improving skills and ensuring Wales strives towards being carbon-free in the future.

TEC Cymru is hosted by Aneurin Bevan University Health board in order to provide oversight and direction for TEC in Wales by working with organisations to design and deliver services which can better meet user needs through technology.

StatsWales is a free-to-use service that allows users to view, manipulate, create and download tables from Welsh data, including health and social care data.

SBRI funds research and development to address unmet needs within healthcare by running specific challenges and open competitions. SBRI is funded by Welsh Government and hosted by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.

Industry Wales hosts specialist forums within the aerospace, automotive, software and technology sectors. This forums provide a range of services to support companies already established within Wales, as well as looking to attract companies to Wales.

The Development Bank of Wales is a Welsh-government owned bank that provides financial support for Welsh businesses, including business loans and equity investment.

Business Wales is a Welsh Government body who provide support and advice to people starting, running and growing a business in Wales. Business Wales also offer access to funding opportunities from the Welsh Government.

Social Care Wales regulates the social care workforce in Wales, as well as providing national leadership and expertise in social and early years care and research.

Welsh Government-backed Circular Economy Funds are available to organisations who are looking to increase the use of recycled and re-used content in products or components or to extend the lifetime of products/materials. This support is available to business, research organisations, third sector organisations and health boards.
