By aligning expertise and building networks across north Wales, we're supporting innovators, entrepreneurs, researchers and health and social care partners connect with the right support, expertise and opportunities.
Life Sciences Hub Wales and M-SParc have agreed a second year of joint working during 2026/27, building on activity already underway to strengthen healthcare innovation, engagement and industry support across north Wales.
Together, we're focussed on making innovation support more visible, accessible and connected across the region. This includes strengthening links between industry, NHS Wales, social care, academia and wider innovation partners, and helping promising ideas move closer to real-world use.
This includes building stronger relationships with key partners such as Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, Bangor University, Wrexham University, and other organisations across the north Wales innovation ecosystem.
Through this partnership, we're creating clearer routes for innovators to engage with health and social care services and develop solutions that respond to real system needs.
M-SParc is Wales's first dedicated science park and supports a diverse ecosystem of companies across multiple sectors, with MedTech becoming an increasingly important focus.
Through its networks, expertise and support for entrepreneurs and innovators, M-SParc plays an important role in strengthening the innovation ecosystem in north Wales. Our collaboration brings together M-SParc's regional expertise and Life Sciences Hub Wales's national networks across health, social care, industry and innovation.
Health+ is a programme funded by Life Sciences Hub Wales, coordinated and delivered by M-SParc, and delivered in partnership with Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board and the North Wales Medical School. This partnership is to strengthen health innovation in north Wales.
It supports innovators, businesses and researchers in north Wales to access expert advice, networks and guidance to develop ideas that could improve health and social care.
