Project Lead
Aimee is a project lead within the Digital, AI and Robotics team, focussing on healthier ageing. Aimee scopes opportunities arising from industry that support innovation across health and social care on a regional and national level.
Her role includes ensuring challenges in the sector are understood and supporting key stakeholders to establish and complete projects. Aimee has over 13 years working within social care, starting as a support worker for adults with learning disabilities, then becoming a qualified social worker for adult social services. Before joining Life Sciences Hub Wales, Aimee spent the last 4 years managing front line community-based services including domiciliary care and assistive technology.
Aimee has a Master’s degree in Social Work, NVQ level 5 in Social Care and continues to be a registered social worker with Social Care Wales.
