Sector Intelligence Lead
Michael leads the delivery of high-quality market intelligence to inform decision-making across NHS Wales, Welsh Government, and the wider life sciences ecosystem. His role involves scoping and managing a pipeline of intelligence projects, producing in-depth sector, international and innovation-focused reports, and translating complex evidence into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders. Alongside hands-on research and writing, he oversees team processes, while also engaging with stakeholders to refine briefs and ensure outputs are aligned to strategic priorities.
Prior to joining Life Sciences Hub Wales in January 2021, Michael completed a PhD in Health Science from Swansea University in 2017 and worked as a postdoc on health research projects with various collaborators including the NHS and Public Health Wales.
