eHealth Digital Media is a digital health company based in Swansea. In collaboration with Assistive Technologies Innovation Centre (ATiC) and the Accelerate programme, they developed a mobile eye-tracking device to collect data about people living with dementia and how they see the world during their day-to-day lives.
They used the data collected from the eye-tracking devices to create films to help understand and determine potential triggers in people living with dementia, and to help people with dementia live better lives.
Dr Sean Jenkins, Principal Innovation Fellow at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David and ATiC said:
"The Accelerate programme is a fantastic opportunity for businesses, the ideas can come from clinicians in healthcare, charities or industry, and it's a really good opportunity to encourage innovation. We can connect people from all those different sectors to get innovations to market."
This project was supported by Accelerate, a now-closed programme led by Life Sciences Hub Wales.
