WelshConfed25 is back on 6 November at Cardiff City Stadium to unite health and social care leaders and their teams. It’s a brilliant opportunity to hear from inspiring thought leaders about pressing developments in this field, network and share best practice and key learnings.

Tackling cancer: innovation, insight and action for Wales

The insightful agenda features plenary talks and interactive workshops, including a breakout session we’re hosting exploring how Wales is transforming cancer care through innovation.

The session, held at 9:45am and 11:20am, highlights how stakeholders from health, academia and industry are working together to drive innovation adoption and meet clinical need and improve outcomes for people affected by cancer in Wales. You’ll learn about the pioneering research and cutting-edge technologies, clinical demand signalling and cross-sector partnerships.

Speakers include:

  • Our Innovation Adoption Director, Rhodri Griffiths
  • Our Non-Executive Directors, Neil Mesher and Meinir Jones
  • Assistant Director of Evidence, Evaluation and Effectiveness, NHS Wales Joint Commissioning Committee, Rachel Gemine

Rhodri Griffiths, Innovation Adoption Director, said:
