Artificial Intelligence Special Interest Group

The purpose of the Artificial Intelligence Special Interest Group (AI SIG) is to be a one-stop-shop for sharing innovative AI projects with the rest of the network. 

About the network

The AI SIG aims to create a space for members to comment, like, share, support, and collaborate with each other's work.

The group currently meets monthly via Microsoft Teams.

 

Network objectives

The AI SIG works to support opportunities of collaboration, share innovation and promote new AI projects. 

The group's priority is to consider how best health and care organisations in Wales can collaborate on AI projects and services to deliver better patient benefit and economic development in Wales. 

 

Who is this network for?

This is a membership group available to those working in health and social care at health boards, local authorities, academia and the public sector. 

 

What is the network currently working on?

The main area of work currently undertaken by the team is implementing and developing an online forum to further enhance the network through the AI portal. 

The group is also an opportunity for industry to showcase their innovation to the group, as well as a place for members to share their own updates and issues.
