Over the next two days, Life Sciences Hub Wales will be engaging with partners from across health and social care at this year's Welsh Public Health Conference, a flagship event organised by Public Health Wales and the Welsh Government.
Staff from the organisation will be building and strengthening relationships with individuals and organisations across health and care. They will be explaining how Life Sciences Hub Wales inspires innovation and collaboration, demonstrating how ideas from the life sciences sector can offer tangible and sustainable improvements to create healthy society and healthy economy.
During the two days, the team will also be showcasing the pioneering Accelerate programme, part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund through the Welsh Government, which aims to support the translation of ideas from health and care into new technology, products and services. It will also feature the Digital Health Ecosystem Wales programme that connects companies with innovative digital solutions.
Sir Mansel Aylward, Chair of Life Sciences Hub Wales and former Chair of Public Health Wales, said:
“We are delighted to be engaging with partners, stimulating conversations and ideas from across the health and care sector in Wales at this year’s conference. At Life Sciences Hub Wales, we believe that health and care innovation is key to a Healthy Planet, Healthy Wales”.
“Our role is to inspire innovation and collaboration between industry, the health and care sectors and research organisations to create a healthy society for families in Wales, and to nurture companies, helping the life sciences sector to thrive to create a sustainable and healthy economy”.
