At Life Sciences Hub Wales, we drive the development and adoption of life science innovation in health and social care in Wales. We’re a dynamic interface, connecting life science innovators with research partners, funding opportunities and end users - frontline health and social care teams - supporting well-being and ultimately generating growth, jobs and prosperity across Wales. Life Sciences Hub Wales offer extensive support at any point on the development journey, right up to end user adoption.

SETsquared is a partnership between the universities of Bath, Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter, Southampton and Surrey. The paetnership provides a range of business suppport programmes aimed at students, academic researchers, technology company founders and SMEs.

The North Wales Growth Deal is a £240m investment funded by the Welsh Government and UK Government. This investment aims to improve the economy in North Wales by building on strengths such as high value manufacturing, Agri-food and Low Carbon Energy.

The Mid Wales Growth Deal is a £110 million deal between the Welsh Government, UK Government and the region's local authorities, Ceredigion County Council and Powys County Council. The deal is being brought forward as a portfolio of projects that have been scoped from the eight broad strategic growth priority areas, including Applied Research & Innovation, Supporting Enterprise, Digital, and Skills & Employment.

The Swansea Bay City Deal is an investment of up to £1.3 billion in a portfolio of major programmes and projects across the Swansea Bay City Region. City Deal programmes and projects are based on key themes including economic acceleration, life science and well-being, energy, smart manufacturing and digital.

The Cardiff Capital Region City Deal is a programme of collaborative working, committed to being the catalyst for regional growth and sustainable success in Southeast Wales within multiple fields, including FinTech, Compound Semi-conductors and MedTech

RPBs have been established as part of Welsh Government's Social Services and Well Being Act to improve the well-being of the population and improve how health and care services are delivered in their region. The Powys RPB covers the same area as Powys Teaching Health Board.
