SMTL are part of NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP) and provide a range of medical device and biological testing services for NHS Wales to assist with procurement.

RHCW is supported by Hywel Dda University Health Board, Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, Powys Teaching Health Board and Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust in order to develop and collate research related to rural health, and to improve the training and recruitment of healthcare professionals to rural communities.

The RCP Wales supports Welsh physicians, by providing educational events and networking opportunities, as well campaigning for improvements to healthcare, medical education and public health.
