In addition, Thermo Fisher also own Synexus, an organisation that conduct clinical trials for pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Synexus has a clinic based in Cardiff.

Revvity (previously part of Perkin Elmer) is a provider of tools for research and development in laboratories (such as genomic and protein analysis instruments and immunoassays and cell lines), laboratory automation platforms, and clinical diagnostic tests for a range of diseases. The company also provide technical services, including pre-clinical and clinical screening and testing. The company are headquarted in the USA, and have a manufacturing facility in Llantrisant

Flogas is a supplier of Liquefied Petroleum Gas for home and business customers. In 2012 Flogas acquired Medical GAS Solutions Limited, a gas company specialising in medical gas which is situated in Flint. Flogas now supply medical gas to the healthcare industry, including to hospitals and emergency services.

Winncare Group is a medical equipment company who specialises in medical beds, hospital furniture, therapeutic mattresses. Winncare is based in Manchester, however Mangar International, a subsidiary who supply safe lifting and pressure care solutions is headquartered in Powys.
