Cutest specialise in producing customised safety and efficacy dermatological tests for wound care and medical devices, with capabilities in protocol design and clinical trial execution. Cutest also offer tolerance testing, wound care materials performance testing and topical pharmaceutical testing services.

RPBs have been established as part of Welsh Government's Social Services and Well Being Act to improve the well-being of the population and improve how health and care services are delivered in their region. The Cwm Taf Morgannwg RPB covers the same area as Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board.

The Regional Innovation Co-ordination (RIC) Hubs form a national network funded by Welsh Government. These Hubs sit within the local Health Board and work to enable the Regional Partnership Board's transformation programme and complement the Regional Integrated Fund (RIF) focussing on innovation infrastructure and activity helping to integrate health and care services. This Hub is situated within Cwm Taf Morgannwg Regional Partnership Board.

Cytiva's Cardiff-based manufacturing facility produces single-use bioprocessing technologies used to make vaccines and biopharmaceuticals.

DECIPHer is a research organisation based within Cardiff University and funded by Health and Care Research Wales. DECIPHer brings together experts from a range of disciplines to tackle public health issues such as diet and nutrition; physical activity; and tobacco, alcohol and drugs, with a particular focus on developing and evaluating interventions that will have an impact on the health and wellbeing of children and young people.
