Cardiff Scintigraphics is a provider of gamma scintigraphy services to pharmaceutical and medical device companies, which are used in the clinical evaluations of pharmaceutical formulations and devices. Services offered by CSL include the design, performance and analysis of scintigraphy studies.

Cardiff University is Wales's only member of the Russell Group of research-intensive British universities. The university is attended by around 34,000 students and includes the Cardiff University School of Medicine. In the 2021 Research Excellence Framework, the university was recognised as a centre of excellence for psychology, psychiatry, and neuroscience.
