The Cardiff University Centre for Trials Research (CTR) is the largest group of academic clinical trials staff in Wales. The centre's portfolio of work includes drugs trials and complex interventions, mechanisms of disease and treatments, cohort studies and informing policy and practice.

CEMET (based within the University of South Wales) provide tech-based Welsh companies located in Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, Carmarthenshire, Powys, Caerphilly, or the Vale of Glamorgan with access to funded 6-8 week R&D projects to develop products or services in fields including Machine Learning, AI, virtual reality and the Internet of Things.

Cerebra funds research, shares information, supports parents and carers and provides direct financial support primarily for children and young people with brain injuries

Ceryx Medical is a bio electronics company who are developing a range of medical devices that can interact with a patient's body. The company's first product is a cardiac pacemaker designed for the treatment of heart failure.

The Children's Social Care Research and Development Centre (CASCADE) is the leading centre for evaluative research in children’s social care in the UK, and works with Cardiff University School of Psychology and Centre for Trials Research, as well as the Secure Anonymised Information Linkage Databank in Swansea. CASCADE is funded by Health and Care Research Wales.

This support is available to business, research organisations, third sector organisations and health boards.

Clear_Pixel VR offer VR-based laboratory procedure training programs, allowing users to interact with laboratory equipment in a virtual environment. In particular, Clear_Pixel have developed neuroscience training modules users to practice electrophysiology experiments.

Clinithink is a healthcare AI company, who have built the CLiX AI to analyse medical notes. This analysis can be used in multiple applications, including to analyse population health, identify rare diseases, enhance clinical productivity and identify patients for clinical trials.
