The Value-Based Health and Care Academy at Swansea University is an Intensive Learning Academy (ILA) that offers educational courses, research opportunities and consultancy services for Value-Based Health and Care. The Academy is a partner of the Wales Value in Health Centre and the EU Alliance for Value in Health. 

Velindre University NHS Trust provides specialist cancer services across South and Mid Wales through the Velindre Cancer Centre and the Welsh Blood Service.

Venalink is a Monitored Dosage System (MDS) provider to community pharmacies. Venalink is based in Deeside.

The company have a manufacturing site in South Wales from their 2020 acquisition of Frontier Medical Group's infection prevention business.

Versus Arthritis funds scientific and medical research into all types of arthritis and musculoskeletal conditions. It is working to take the pain away from sufferers with all forms of arthritis and helping people to remain active. This will be achieved through funding high-quality research, providing services, information and campaigning. The charity's vision is a future free of arthritis.

Vibrant Medical have developed Vibro-Pulse, a medical device designed to treat and stimulate the healing of a range of chronic wounds via a low amplitude, frequency vibration action. The company are based in Denbigh.

Vicentra have developed Kaleido, a reusable insulin pump which can be controlled and monitored by a handset. The device can also link to a Continuous Glucose Monitor to deliver a corrective bolus. The company are largely based in the Netherlands, and have a registered UK office in Swansea.

Virtus Tech have developed a VR platform that allows for non-technical users to create custom simulations. This platform has been used to develop healthcare training scenarios within the NHS, as well as being used in other academic environments.

Virustatic have developed Viruferrin, a protein-based antimicrobial, antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal textile coating which may be used to reduce the spread of diseases such as COVID-19 and seasonal influenza. The company have developed the Virustatic Shield, a "snood" face covering using their patented technology.

The WAHWN is a membership organisation for Welsh arts and health professionals.
