Waterless develops hygiene products and antimicrobial solutions including shampoos, body wash, alcohol-free sanitisers, wipes and surface sprays. Waterless supplies the NHS and the Care Industry, as well as Commercial Businesses, Facilities Management, Janitorial, Pharmaceutical and Retail Sectors.

Wellcome exists to improve health by helping great ideas to thrive. Wellcome funds health researchers, campaign for better science, and help the public get involved with science and health research. Wellcome are a politically and financially independent foundation.

The Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust is the national ambulance service. The Trust provides services including emergency medical services, the 111 service, and non-emergency patient transport

The WCISU is the National Cancer Registry for Wales, which records, stores and reports on all incidence of cancer within Wales. The unit also conducts their own research and collaborates with Welsh universities and with numerous large-scale international studies.

The Welsh Intensive Care Society is a society of intensive care professionals who hold yearly conferences and co-ordinates national audits and research projects.

The Welsh Wound Innovation Centre was established to tackle the challenges associated with acute, traumatic and chronic, non-healing wounds and their treatment and prevention. The centre provides education and training, delivers clinical research and provides commercial consultancy services.

RPBs have been established as part of Welsh Government's Social Services and Well Being Act to improve the well-being of the population and improve how health and care services are delivered in their region. The West Glamorgan RPB covers the same area as Swansea Bay University Health Board.

The Regional Innovation Co-ordination (RIC) Hubs form a national network funded by Welsh Government. These Hubs sit within the local Health Board and work to enable the Regional Partnership Board's transformation programme and complement the Regional Integrated Fund (RIF) focussing on innovation infrastructure and activity helping to integrate health and care services. This Hub is situated within the West Glamorgan Regional Partnership Board.
