The charity also encourages preventative strategies to avoid blindness

Signumology is a software company who have developed Mydoc4health, an online triage and patient flow management platform that is tailored to different medical conditions. The software can be used to remotely monitor patients using telemedicine modules, as well as to generate automatic diagnostic reports and integrate with pharmacy and laboratory systems.

The applications include for employee-led quality improvement programmes through to industry-led open innovation and supplier recruitment. This involves the capture and implementation of ideas with outcomes including new products, services and processes to improve patient care.

SBRI funds research and development to address unmet needs within healthcare by running specific challenges and open competitions. SBRI is funded by Welsh Government and hosted by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.
