SETsquared is a partnership between the universities of Bath, Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter, Southampton and Surrey. The paetnership provides a range of business suppport programmes aimed at students, academic researchers, technology company founders and SMEs.

SGS Quay Pharma is a Contract Development Manufacturing Organisation who provide services to biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, including formulation development, clinical manufacturing and analytical services. The company has two sites in Deeside.

Sharp Clinical Services, is a supplier of clinical trial packaging, labelling and distribution services for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies from phase I trials through to commercial launch. The company’s services include analytical and formulation services, contract manufacturing, primary and secondary packaging, storage and distribution.

Siemens Healthineers, a subsidiary of Siemens AG, is a medical technology company that designs, develops, produces, and distributes diagnostic and therapeutic imaging systems, laboratory diagnostics and molecular medicine technologies, as well as providing enterprise and digital services. Siemens Healthineers is headquartered in Germany, and has a site in Llanberis, where they manufacture IMMULITE reagents, used in IMMULITE blood immunoassays to diagnose a wide range of diseases.

Sight Cymru provide services to mitigate the impacts of sensory loss to people in Wales, including Eye Clinic support and Rehabilitation for the Vision Impaired, counselling, emotional support, befriending, activities, telephone helpline, social activities, training and a comprehensive resource centre offering advice, information and advocacy. The charity also encourages preventative strategies to avoid blindness

Signumology is a software company who have developed Mydoc4health, an online triage and patient flow management platform that is tailored to different medical conditions. The software can be used to remotely monitor patients using telemedicine modules, as well as to generate automatic diagnostic reports and integrate with pharmacy and laboratory systems.

Simbec-Orion is a full-service contract research organisation that offers clinical management services from phase 1 to phase 3. Services include Scintigraphy, pharmacovigilance, trial data management and central laboratory services. The company provides these services across a number of therapeutic areas, but specialise in Oncology and Rare Disease.

SimplyDo provides digital products enabling organisations to more effectively manage innovation in health and care. The applications include for employee-led quality improvement programmes through to industry-led open innovation and supplier recruitment. This involves the capture and implementation of ideas with outcomes including new products, services and processes to improve patient care.
