Porvair is an industrial equipment providing company that offers manufacturing, designing, developing, and supplying specialist filtration and separation equipment and related accessories. Porvair is headquartered in King's Lynn, Norfolk. Porvair Sciences, a subsidiary, operates out of Wrexham, and focuses on the development of porous plastic materials and microplate technologies for the biotechnology and life science industries.

RPBs have been established as part of Welsh Government's Social Services and Well Being Act to improve the well-being of the population and improve how health and care services are delivered in their region. The Powys RPB covers the same area as Powys Teaching Health Board.

The Regional Innovation Co-ordination (RIC) Hubs form a national network funded by Welsh Government. These Hubs sit within the local Health Board and work to enable the Regional Partnership Board's transformation programme and complement the Regional Integrated Fund (RIF) focussing on innovation infrastructure and activity helping to integrate health and care services. This Hub is situated within the Powys Regional Partnership Board.
