The Swansea Trials Unit (STU) is a UK Clinical Research Collaboration registered Clinical Trials Unit who offer methodological advice and support to clinical teams, both in designing new trials and in applying for grants. The STU is funded by Health and Care Research Wales

Swansea University is attended by around 20,000 students, and houses three faculties; Humanities and Social Science; Medicine, Health and Life Sciences; Science and Engineering. The faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Sciences houses the Swansea University Medical School.
